20" x 20" Mercerized Cotton and Silk.
A handwoven framed artwork. The background of the piece features a neutral base with vertical, closely spaced, subtle stripes in shades of white, cream, and light gray. On top of this background, there are square shapes arranged in a loose grid pattern. These squares are composed of horizontal stripes in varying shades of red, orange black and gray. The contrast between the bright, vivid blues and teals of the squares and the soft, neutral background gives the impression of the squares "floating" above the surface—reminiscent of birds (perhaps cardinals) against a snowy landscape.
